Carol Steele has been potting since 1976 and completed an MFA in Ceramics/Fibers from Antioch University in 1981. She combined pottery making, parenting and librarianship 
in the ensuing years, showing one-of-a-kind works in juried shows. Carol now produces utilitarian stoneware pottery with an aesthetic based on the Leach ceramic traditions of England.
